Halloween Week at Miller and Two Weekends at the Renaissance Festival
Halloween lands on a Saturday this year, and there are a few good ways to spend the week around Houston. At Miller Outdoor Theatre in Hermann Park, Bacement Foundation for the Arts brings a one-night Halloween edition of Dancin' in the Street, called Thriller on the Hill, on Friday, October 30 at 7:30 p.m. It has live performances, DJ sets and R&B classics, and costumes are welcome. Tickets for the covered seating are released at 10 a.m. on Thursday, October 29. The next night, Saturday, October 31 at 7:30 p.m., Miller shows the 2023 film Haunted Mansion. Both are free, as every performance at Miller is.
If you want a full day out, the Texas Renaissance Festival in Todd Mission, about an hour northwest of the city, is open Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. This weekend, October 24 and 25, is Pirate's Adventure. Next weekend, October 31 and November 1, is All Hallow's Eve, with a Halloween costume contest. Children 12 and under get in free on Sundays.
If you are thinking about a move this fall, or just want to know what homes are going for on your street, call or text me at 281-818-8177, or book a time with me at le-rocks.com. I am glad to talk it through.
